Pure Imagination Studio Summer Camps 2024
Sarasota County Parks & Rec in Partnership with Pure Imagination Studio!
We are once again Partnering with Sarasota County Park and Rec
to bring you a few fun camps at Nokomis Beach Park.
All supplies and tools included for each camp!
Below are the camps available this summer...
Art and Eats Camp
This is a camp that combines our Art and Cooking programs all in one. Our Cooking curriculum each day we will be learning about kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and proper tool usage. We will be using the “three bite rule” as we explore new food flavors both sweet, savory, and sometimes exotic. The second half of the Camp will be filled with Art and exploring many different types & forms of art such as Paper, Woodworking, Sewing, Tile, Paint and Creative uses for Recycled materials and more. We provide all tools, recipes, and supplies, as well as a bunch of new skills, a dash of inspiration, and a pinch of spice!
Dates: 6/23/25 - 6/27/25 Time: 9-12noon
Age group: 5-10 - Max enrollment: 20 students
Sewing 101 Camp
Sew Button! - Sewing for fun & practicality. From beginning hand sewing techniques to sewing basics on the machine, this intensive sewing camp will give each camper the confidence to layout, cut & assemble beginner sewing projects in a snap!
Dates: 6/2/25 - 6/6/25 Time: 9-12noon
Age group: 7-13 - Max Enrollment: 20 students
Woodshop 101
Here is an amazing opportunity to really get busy with hammer & nails, Small power tools and sandpaper and such! What Joyous things we can create with wood!
Dates: 7/21/25 - 7/25/25 Time: 9-12noon
Age group: 7-13 - Max enrollment: 20 students

Crazy Cook Camp
Want to learn kitchen basics and explore some new fantastic food flavors? Then sign up for this fun food camp. Each day we will be learning about kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and proper tool usage.
